Here are some things that have been problems for your peers in the past and may be the solution to a problem you’re having now.

1) PebblePad not accepting your user name and password that you are sure are correct?

  • Make sure you are trying to login via the GMU specific PebblePad login page: GMU PebblePad Login

2) Are you unable to upload? This might be the result of one of two things:

  • Check to make sure that you have your browser set to allow for pop-up windows.
  • Your file might be too large. Pebblepad has a file size cap of 10MB–if your file is larger than this, you will have to resize it.

3) Need to compress a file in order to make the 10MB or smaller file cap?

Mac Users

  • From the Share button on tool bar, click on Quicktime, and then click on Web. It seems to shrink the files to a reasonable size.
  • If you have a newer Mac or newer version of iMovie (on Snow Leopard) go through Share–>Export to Quicktime–>Broadband Medium or Broadband Low

PC Photostory Users

  • You want to be at the “Save your Story” window (the last window you hit once you’ve finished your story)
  • Select the last option (save for playback on a portable media device)–make sure to save to the desktop so you don’t have trouble finding your assignment after it is saved.
